PARIS (2)

Isabel Marant

Haider Ackermann

Givenchy

Dries van Noten

Wow. Here are my last picks of the Fall 09 season. I didn't have a specific favourite collection from Paris, but I did love Dries, Lanvin, Haider Ackermann and Isabel Marant.

Givenchy just exudes POWER doesn't it. I don't know, it seems really fierce... you know?! But I heart it...some of the coats, dresses and skirts are incredible.

I love Dries. I always love Dries. This collection is just too COOl for words. Really. And the pastels as well?? DEEEEP. The blazers, the SNAKESKIN coat!! the croc coat!! the trousers! Oh, I'm in clothing heaven...not to mention the snake shoes.

Oh, oh, oh Haider Ackermann. I have not seen fitted or cropped jackets this nice in a while (if ever). I mean, just look at them. And the long skirts. and the layering and draping. Amazing. The embroidered trousers and tops? Genius. I really love this collection. It has a Rick Owens feel to it, yet it is also very original.

Isabel Marant and Emanuelle Alt are my idols. No stalko. I love Emanuelle Alt's styling, and I love Isabel Marant's clothes. This collection is Parisian chic at its best, and I don't know if you knew, but Parisian chic is the 8th wonder of the world. Really. I already have one piece from this collection and I shall treasure it for the rest of my life. I mean, the leopard print trousers, the blue tiered skirt, the leopard print jacket, the florals, the red tweed skirt, the red tweed jacket...seriously I don't quite know what to do with myself, they're so incredible.

Anyways, goodbye Fall 09, you've been good to us.
